Description

A shot of an M-24 Chaffee light tank that was introduced late in WW 2. It was a replacement for the older scout tanks. The moire pattern in the tent behind it is due to the sunlight on the mesh fabric.

You may or may not know that in the 1965 movie, Battle of the Bulge, they used these as Sherman Tanks and the German Tiger II's were played by American M47 Patton tanks.  The Battle of the Bulge may be one of the best tank movies but the tanks were so wrong. :faint:
